Freshman have developed a new pre-amp with our good friend Stefan Schertler.

Together we came up with the new On Board Dual system exclusive to Freshman Guitars and unique to the FA500 series.

The system is based on a dual pick up system, the first being the renowned Schertler Bluestick transducer based under the saddle plus the exceptional sounding electro dynamic DYN pick up positioned inside just below the bridge which marries and adds the extra dimension internal harmonics to the all round sound.

The pre amp is mounted on the side of the guitar and features a blend control as well as treble bass and volume for a complete variety of sounds.
