Brawth are two glasgow-based musicians, francis macneil and chris barrett, were writing, recording, and occasionally performing, their music as 'drawler' and 'pookah' respectively.
they initially met online on myspace music forums, before meeting in reality amidst the pubs and open mic scene of glasgow.

after a few jam sessions, each of which resulted in at least one song written and recorded, they decided it would be worth redoing these 4 to 6 songs into more listenable demos.
however fate was to get in the way (and these songs still only exist in their initial form) for the first time they sat down to rerecord one they ended up writing and recording another one instead. this has happened on each occasion they have met. so they started posting them online.

the reaction to these new songs has been somewhat overwhwelmingly favourable from those who have heard them.
